Key facts: Trade Max is a Wedgetail sub brand. Crossbar kits are rated 30 to 150 kg dynamic per vehicle (most 100 kg; static rating is 3.5 times the dynamic rating) and are 100% off-road rated. Zinc plated and powder coated steel with powder coated aluminium. 5-year warranty on most kits (the term for each is shown on its page). RRP $230 to $1,400 inc GST.

Our engineers designed the Trade Max to offer a flexible and durable load-carrying solution. This system stands out for its level crossbars and the ability to move them as needed. It also allows the rear bar to sit closer to the back of the vehicle, regardless of the roof mount location.

MOUNTING LUGS
The Trade Max mounting lugs attach to the vehicle’s sub-structure. Different fixing devices are used for various vehicle models, ensuring secure installation.

Custom-designed Trade Max mounting rails evenly distribute the weight across the vehicle roof. The zinc-plated, powder-coated rails ensure durability and for utes or vans, there are one- or two-piece sections.
