The business was established in 1978, racks are fitted on site at the factory and by every Wedgetail stockist, and Wedgetail ships Australia wide and to the US.

About Wedgetail Rack
Established in 1978, Wedgetail Rack is a third-generation, family-owned business proudly manufactured in Bayswater, Victoria. Since then, we’ve perfected the art of designing and building roof racks that are tough enough to handle all of Australia’s roads, from highways to the harshest outback trails.
Founded initially as Tradesman Engineering in a small factory in Huntingdale, our journey has been one of constant growth and innovation. Wedgetail is a roof rack brand created by Tradesman Roof Racks Pty Ltd, and the Tradesman name is still used for our full custom range. Every Wedgetail rack is made at our factory at 13 Clare Street, Bayswater, Victoria, and shipped Australia wide and to the US. We remain committed to staying at the forefront of roof rack design and technology. In 2010, we moved to our current, larger facility in Bayswater to meet the demands of our expanding range of commercial, recreational, and SUV roof racks.
