Warranty and build
What warranty does a Wedgetail have?
It depends on the range: Wedgetail Adventure 10 years, Wedgetail Core 3 years, Wedgetail Trade 5 years, Trade Max 5 years, Commercial Max 1 year and Oval Steel 5 years on most racks. A few solutions differ; each product lists its own.
Is the rack welded or bolted together?
Both. The main frame sections are welded; the other parts bolt or click together, so the rack ships flat-pack.
Does it come with a wind deflector?
Yes, on every Wedgetail rack except Trade Max crossbar kits and the Technician ladder rack.
How noisy is a Wedgetail rack?

Fitting and accessories
Do third-party accessories fit a Wedgetail?
Yes. The lip around the platform is there for strength; some third-party accessories need a 10 mm spacer to clear it, and with that they fit. See third-party accessories.
Which canopies can a Wedgetail mount on?
ARB, EGR Gen 2, Maxliner Venture, RSI Evo, Utemaster Centurion and Ascent canopies, and Caddy Storage, CSM and Mode service bodies. A canopy or service body not on the list is not fitted.
Can I carry a boat, kayak or surfboards?
Surfboards are carried on the racks. Commercial Max and Oval Steel take a removable boat roller pair. There is no kayak carrier.
Can I fit it myself?
Yes. Each solution has fitting instructions and a listed fit method. Every Wedgetail stockist also fits, and racks are fitted on site at the factory.
