How do you mount a light bar on a Wedgetail roof rack?
Short answer
On a Wedgetail rack, a light bar mounts with the Wedgetail lightbar bracket, which fits crossbars and Wedgetail platforms, or on a lightbar support plate (there is also a van version), and the support extension takes light bars wider than 40 inches. Side light mounts and the light mount grab handle carry work lights and pods, and the Sprinter and Crafter have their own lightbar extensions and boxes. Lights are sold separately, and the light and mount count against the rack's rating (100 or 150 kg dynamic on most Wedgetail platforms).

Which mount for which light
- Light bar on crossbars or a platform: the Wedgetail lightbar bracket mounts a light bar to crossbars and Wedgetail platforms. It includes a secondary clamp bracket that is used on Wedgetail platforms to reduce light bar vibration, and it adjusts to suit different light sizes.
