How to mount a rooftop tent on a Wedgetail platform
Short answer
Use the Wedgetail RTT mounting hardware in the channel, check tent weight against the dynamic rating, then torque and re-check. Most Wedgetail platforms are rated 100 or 150 kg dynamic; the tent plus the people sleeping in it must stay within the static rating, 3.5 x dynamic (350 or 525 kg static). Every Wedgetail rating holds 100% off-road.

Steps
Before you start

Check the ratings first
The tent weight must be within the platform's dynamic rating for your vehicle fitment, and the tent plus occupants within the static rating (3.5 x dynamic). Stay within the vehicle maker's roof limit as well.
Position the tent
With a helper, lift the tent onto the platform and set it where its mounting rails line up with the platform, following the tent maker's guidance on direction of opening.
Fit the mounting hardware
Fit the Wedgetail roof top tent mounting hardware through the tent's mounting rails and into the platform channel, as shown in the hardware's fitting instructions.
Tighten
Tighten every fastener evenly to the figure in the fitting instructions.
Re-check
Open and close the tent once, check every fastener again, and re-check after the first drive.
