79 Series single cab: Adventure, Oval Steel or Commercial Max
The LandCruiser 79 Series cab chassis has the widest choice: a Wedgetail Adventure aluminium platform, an Oval Steel platform and a Commercial Max platform, all on the cab roof. Wedgetail Adventure has the longest warranty of these; Oval Steel and Commercial Max are steel. For a light mount on the 79 cab chassis there is also a gutter mounted roof visor and light mount.
Single cab HiLux, Ranger, D-MAX, BT-50 and Triton
For these utes the current product data lists no single cab roof rack on the cab itself. The Wedgetail option is a Commercial Max platform that mounts on a Caddy Storage service body, which carries ladders, pipe and timber over the tray. If your single cab has a different body, check Find My Vehicle or ask a stockist; a service body not on the Wedgetail list (Caddy Storage, CSM, Mode) is not fitted.
Why a single cab needs its own rack
Wedgetail lists every rack by make, model, generation and cab, and a single cab roof is shorter than an extra or dual cab roof.
